Hi We have always camped with a tent filling the boot and roof box with all our gear no problems at all .I have a toyota 1.4 vvti will it tow a trailer tent as I would like to upgrade to a Sunncamp 400 se trailer tent .We havent towed at all before so some advise would be brill thanks.

I've seen 1.4 ltr cars towing caravans before now. You'll have no problems with the Sunncamp as they aren't that heavy.

The max towing capacity for all the latest models is 1500lbs.

The weight of the Sunncamp is 792 lbs., so as you can see, you have loads of additional capacity for any items you store in the trailer aswell.

hi we use a 1400 saxo to tow our folding camper no problems at all .

We use to pull our FC with a 1.4 corsa with no problems.

Was towing the Cardinal - which is a lot heavier than a trailer tent - with a Jazz 1.4 till I got the Shogun. Used to tow a 2 berth caravan regularly with a Civic 1.4.

Corolla 1.4 should pull a trailer tent easily.
