Hi, Wondered if anyone could help. We have seen the 2005 Cabanon Atlantis and loved it.  We have seen a two year old Cabanon Galaxy for sale and we believe the Atlantis replaced it.  Do you know if they are similar or if there are any major differences?  Thanks for your help.

Also is there anything we should look out for when buying a second ahnd cabanon?  Thanks. Dawn

We bought a Galaxy 2001 model last year for £1100 with lots of accessories thrown in (not literally).
My friend bought the Atlantis brand new at the same time for £3000+ and yes they are the same model.
I think the colours may have changed now but ours are both cream and blue.
We have just bought extra panels for the porch, and things like that are still available for the Galaxy.
We were lucky when we bought ours as it had been well cared for.
If you look at a new Atlantis then you could compare a secondhand model to it, but I'm afraid I'm not an expert.
We love this trailer tent, it's really big but easy to build. I managed with my 13 year old son last week, and neither of us are particularly tall.

We also have a Galaxy & I think that, apart from the colour, the only difference is that the Atlantis's awning zips off in two parts so that you can have just half up for short trips. Presumably you'd be paying a lot more for a new Atlantis so it may not be worth the extra.

As Soozie says the major difference is that the Atlantis awning splits into two sections whereas the Galaxy is all one.  the minor differences are the colour scheme and iun the bedroom area the rear has drawers in whilst the Galaxy was just an open space.

We had a Galaxy - excellent TT and am sure the Atlantis would be the same.
