The nut on one of the stabiliser legs ( the ones that drop down on corners of trailer) has sheered off we think. OH put leg down but nut wouldn't hold it in place so we ended up using concrete blocks.

Is this a job that can be done at home?, If so how?

We bought a whole new leg for the caravan for £17 and just unscrewed the plate from the under side and screwed the new one on in the same place.

I assume that what you are talking about is the hexagonal piece that the Corner Steady Brace fits onto. I think the original may just be pinned in place, and the pin has sheared. If you can check if that is the case then replacing the pin is no problem. Otherwise have it welded as fisheman14 suggested.

the bolt head is still there, but the bolt just keeps twisting, not tightening to hold leg in place. sheered off was OH word, sorry fo confusion.

may still be pin thats broke if you can try to turn the screw part by hand if the leg moves then as posted b4 have it welded
