I'm in the process of trying to buy a family tent. Any advice? I quite like the Diablo 600 . Are there any problems with pitching this tent as some camp sites seem to be quite strict on pitch size.

I would appreciate some advice.

try the tent forum! Here you will get folding camper biased answers!

For my 2p worth a Dandy- they are wonderful things!

All folding campers have loads of anvantages over tents-fixed comfy off ground beds, better weather resistance, trailers easy to tow and can take loads of yourfamily "stuff" too.

Dandys are PVC so fold wet without rotting and dont leak, fullstop. Most (except the oldest) are insulated and have a heather as well as a sink/cookerfor "luxurious" indoor safe catering-no standing out in the rain to cook or fearing the nylon will go upin flames.

Told youyou'd get biased answers

Seriously, we have a nice tent, but used it once and got the Dandy cos we loved camping, but the floor was hard, even with a mat, we were a bit chilly and perpetually damp either as it was rainy or condensation!!
