can't wait till next year to go away again. my next holidays are in october half term when i get 2 weeks off. what's it like camping so late in the year bit worried about getting canvas dried out properly after.

I have just booked 8 days at Beverley Park in Paignton over the October half term.  It is very close to where we live (we live in Torquay).  Neil can still go to work, and Sam (13) can still go and see Torquay play (Although with 2 points from 7 games, he may feel like tearing his season ticket up).  I can even get home to use the washing machine if I want to.  Camping is so addictive, we just had to do it.  We are also thinking about camping over New Year.  I should imagine it would be great fun to be on a campsite on New Year's Eve.

I must admit we have never been away in October with the FC.  But this year my hubbie is off during half term, so we 5 are all off to Grainge over sands for 4 nights.  So i am looking forward to a late break, it will be our last this year before we pack the FC away for the winter.  Sure you will have a good time Kate.  I sure intend to.
