hum just to add to your confusion look at the Camplet..... recommended to me, combicamp has to be so easy it is not true.... I have one... and it is just sooo easy to put up. But Camplet worth a look too but the nearest dealership is in Ireland for that one, but do have a look it is clever.

I have a camp-let TT which I think is brilliant, very quick to put up as the awning is all in one with the main tent body and it opens like a pram-hood. I got mine 2nd or 3rd hand but it was in vgc. I have watched people putting up the standard design TTs and it looks like hard work to me! But then my other half doesn't do camping so I have to have something quick and easy that me and the kids can put up alone. Good luck with your choice and happy camping.

I'd rather be camping

You should look at Dandy they are now called Riva Leisure http://www.rivaleisureltd.co.uk/index.cgi?action=page&pageno=3

but have been around 25 years as Dandy and there is still one of these being used that is 25 years old. As they are made out of plastic and dont rot and are easy to put up. We have got the Designer the largest type now made says it sleeps 5 but is more suited to 2 adults and 2 children. On the 2 double beds it has. The 5th bed is made from a table put across 2 seats. Our family is is 2 adults and 2 children 19 and 15. well practically adults aswell but there is still loads of room. Pepole have said its like a tardis looks small on the outside but has loads of room inside.Another advantage over other trailers is that the COOKER is built into the cupboards INSIDE the trailer not on the back and therefore not requiring an awning.

Our personal record to put one up and get the kettle on the is 9 minutes but that is after practice.

Have a look at the website link.
You pull out the legs fold out the 2 bedsand the roof comes with them. then the front and back walls are put in place, bearing in mind that the picture. on the website is the smallest 2 berth so the larger ones do take 2 people but its the same principle,.

Now we've got one we'd never get rid of it. But that can be a problem as they are hand made there are not alot of them about but try this website
http://www.dandyowners.co.uk/  on the sales link to see whats available

I,m with you on that larmbelastigung. I,ve also got a Designer but if you think thats big , you wanna look at a Destiny !!!! Going to Earls court next month to see what deal we can get on one !!!!!!!! Suppose I,ve got the Dandy up in about 10mins aswell. They don,t take long. Best thing I ever did was move from a tent to a Dandy. Only bought my first one cos it was going cheap off a bloke in a pub !!!!!!! Never looked back since. The Destiny will be No 5.Never got rid of them cos they "died" We just liked buying an oldy , tarting it up, then wanting a bigger one to accomodate our growing family. SUPERB campers !!!!.

Regards THUMPER.
