yes i did!!!! i got on to dylon, the makers of fabric dye and they sent me several large bottles of the fabric paint, which i used a sponge to put on, the hardest part is that to "fix" the dye you have to iron the canvas, when i say hardest it wasnt really it was just that i got so many funny remarks of the neigbours who thought id gone totally of my head when they saw me outside ironing the "tent", so in the end we took the panels off and i did it in the back garden on a paste table. we then got several tins of fabsil and sprayed this on untill i couldnt get anymore on, think it was about 5 layers, then left to dry, this was all replaced back on the frame and then gently soaked with the hosepipe to "weather" the canvas and we never had any problems, think the whole thing for the cardinal cost £120 if that. so definitely worth it against the cost of a new canvas.
shout if you have any problems
