Hoping for a bit of advice really. selling the Trailer tent i bought new last year as we've just inherited a caravan and really dont know what the best way is to go about selling it! Have never bought or sold anything on ebay before and having had a look on there today I'm affraid my ad will get lost in the thousands of others on there. Any tips on ebay selling and how to make your add stand out?
Have put an add on the free ad section of this site, but they seem to disappear rapidly too as new ads come on.
Any tips on where to advertise or how to make my ads stand out, greatfully recieved.
Sold stuff on site here, there is preloved and RV vehicles too which is good. For the site here you can keep entering the advert to keep it at the top.. but people who are looking like me scan the page throughly believe me!!
I do not buy from ebay for anything that is over a certain price so you would not catch me if you were selling... so might be worth doing both??
Thanks for that Jenny, will keep re entering my ad on here and also try the other sites!
If anyone knows somone looking for a 2005 comanche montana with awning and front box, please point them in the direction of this thread. I'll be selling it for less than its worth so someone will get a bargain!
I've just bought my TT from 'Preloved' better than e-bay I think cos you set your price and people can come and see it before they buy. The people who were selling the one I bought said they'd had loads of enquiries
I have sold our dandy on ebay recently and I have sold our old caravan and conway tardis on there too.
Here are a couple of tips :-
Do an advanced search to look at completed listings. Look at the details they have put, style of listing, what makes you think that listing looks good.
Use a picture pack as you get 6 supersize pictures and the gallery pics for 90p.
Put as many descriptive words as possible in the title.
Use bigger letters and make them bold to stand out.
Be as thorough as you can with the listing.
Put it on a buy it now and state when you want payment and collection by and let it be known if viewing and questions can be requested.
Hope this helps. I would also list on preloved and here too as it does not cost anything so could always save your final value fee.
