Hi,Just purchased our first FC,2001 Fiesta, came with everything but instructions,me and the wife put it up for the first time tonight, all pretty much straight forward. The problem were having is with the curtains,we had a bag with around 20 curtains, about 10 of which we've decided must belong in the awning.
Were struggling with hanging the curtains at the back of the kitchen area, how are they fixed and hung ??? Same with the curtains for the window at the back of the beds and also those that hang in front of the beds ??? Probably very simple but with so many curtains and poles were a bit lost,Any help greatly appreciated
Does anybody know if Pennine would supply me with an instruction manual,i presume you do get one when purchasing a new camper, cheers V
Hi, we've got a 2003 fiesta so not sure if its the same but......
The back of the kitchen ones, if you look at the back of the frame there should be small holes, where you can hook one of the cutrain wires into. If you haven't got any curtain wires then go to any curtain shop and buy some!!. You can measure the length but if you get a longer wire you can cut it to size.
The bedroom windows are exactly the same!.
The ones at the front of the beds are the ones with tie-backs on!.
Size wise its just a matter of trial and error, all the awning curtains are the same size.
Hope this helps!!
We did get an instruction manual with ours when we got it second hand but its not a terribly useful one, its just a general one for all pennines.
Hi Claire, thanks for the info,we had spotted those small holes but we hadn't came across any curtain wires,Do the curtains at the front of the beds fix in the same way ??? I think we've worked out which curtains go were it was just fitting them that confused us.We did get an owners manual with the camper which gives instruction for the fridge, cooker and gas works etc,we just thought you might get something with detailed instruction on setting the camper up,thanks again V
I'll take a good look through alll the paperwork we have again just to make sure we dont have the instructions,if not i may take you up on the offer. One other part we couldn't work out was the vent system on the bedroom windows, how does this work ???
You should have two metal poles and four S shaped brakets. Basically you slide the pole throiugh the window on the outside at the bottom then attach one S bracket either end of the pole and slot into the pocket thingys (for a better description) this will then keep the windows away from the unit, this means that you can unzip the inner windows even in the heaviest of downpours and you won't get wet.
