Does anyone know where old / accident damaged folding campers end up?
I have been looking for a set of underbed skirts for a 97 Fiesta for a while now with no success. We also could do with some other bits just to get the unit looking really good and i was thinking a breaker might be a good option. I've tried a number of caravan breakers but no-one seems to know of anyone who breaks campers. Anyone got any idea?
I've already been in touch with Pennine. They can make skirts up, but not in the Aqua blue colour from late 1990's. However I have been in touch with TVS who are sending me a material sample out and can hopefully help.
I've been keeping an eye on ebay but have not managed to convince anyone to part with the skirts separate to the camper yet.
We had underbed skirts made by Pennine last year for our '96 Fiesta - as you say they didn't have the Aqua blue canvas but they colour matched as best they could and we have a dark blue that contrasts quite nicely. We've also got hold of a 2001 green bedroom extension so if you see a multi coloured Fiesta on site anywhere it's probably us!
Most old F/Cs & TTs end up having thier guts ripped out & used as a normal load lugger. Theres loads like that on ebay. The only salvage one I saw was a 92 Pullman with no canvas.Side skirts cant be that difficult to get made up. Have you tried any upholsterers or the like ?
THUMPER.
