well we have finally made a decision,we are going for the sunncamp 400 se,just hope we have made the right choice, please tell me we have,we spent all day on friday and travelled to oxford looked at combi camp,to be honest we made an appointment to see him as when we got there he was in a meeting so someone else spoke to us to say the trailer we went to see had been sold the day before,we have looked at the trigarno and the sunn camp and other than the canvas there didnt seem much difference except two thousand pounds,we went to jacksons and got the worst salesman i have ever met,he obvisously didnt like sunncamps and tried to put us off saying they shrink and the canvas is made in china.he showed us a 5 year old trigano £1.700 but it was only half put up when i asked if we wanted to buy this now would he be able to put it all up he said we would have to ring a go back another day,the canvas what we could see, had 4 /5 rips in,the bed covers were ripped and the trailer lights had been broken.we are getting our t.t from j r leisure at lambley notts and have to say we have they have been very helpful and frendly and have a well stocked shop and nice coffee shop,i know my hubby says im really fussy but i feel its important to get it right and ask all the daft questions its to late when your in a field with everyone watching! happy camping ,wheres the sun !!!!!!
Hi Lynne, they seem pretty popular (lots on ebay) and massive if you want a big family tent for a weeks hols but too much work for us wimps that like to take things easy for regular weekends!!.....happy camping - I agree some sales people are laughable aren't they!!
Good choice we brought one at easter and put it on site the same day colour coded all the awning poles for our next trip only one word describes the sunncamp 400se and thats massive . Cant wait to go to the billy no mates meet this weekend comming and put it up again .To make it even more fun were going to france with it next year
hubby wants to take ours to france 4 new year, got to find a site for may bank hol first an put the thing up! how long did it take you first time to put your sunn camp up.and can you drop the window down to make a veranda effect? as you can on the 350.happy camping
We bought one just before Easter for two of us. We love the amount of room if gives us.
It rained really hard the second time we used it, no leaks but water pooled on the kitchen area. To be honest we think this was our fault has be had not raised the legs one side to give a slope. Took us about three and half-hours to put up the first time but about two the second. Going away with it again next bank holiday and we are new to camping, so it must be good for us to do three trips in it in less than two months. So far we have used the veranda porch option of putting it up.
We are also planning on a trip abroad next year with it, possibly France
Enjoy! We loved ours - especially the brightness inside in the mornings when it always looked as if the sun was shining even when it was pouring rain! - but slipped discs and 'children' letting us go away alone means we have moved to an FC. Our sunncamp 400 currently advertised on this site for sale. Much loved and will be sadly missed but we need our patio back!

Do not mess in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
You will not regret it . This is our third year with ours and we love it . Just practice putting it up .We use the porch /veranda all the time ,regards Clive and Di
Ive just joined the club and purchased a 350SE lucky I have a big enough drice and can test it out, without the prying eyes of other campers with me looking a complete novice (prat) lol
Spanking choice. Our 350 has been marvelous. Luv it
