Evening all

I've just become an owner of a Penine Pathfinder - so look forward to bragging about it with all fellow Pathfinders

Has to be said, very much looking forward to using it for the 1st time.
The good old tent was my previous outdoor accommodation - that's until the missus decided that we deserved something a little more stylish

This weekend marks the last outing in our trusty tent, so i might do a 'sacrificial' send off with it

This looks a good resource for camping, so look forward to conversing with you all in the future.

Regards

Viper

Hi Viper, and welcome.  You'll love your Pathfinder - you'll soon be enthusing about the glories of hot water to do some washing up, and no more visits to the loo in the middle of the night, bliss.  Hope you enjoy yours as much as we do.  This site is a mine of useful information and very friendly.  Let us know how you get on.

PS - what will the "sacrificial" send off be!?

Congrats from us. We also upgraded from tent to Pathfinder this year. Been crawling around on the floor, cooking on uno stoves, visiting the toilets in the night and going to the main block to wash the pots for far too long. We made our first outing in April and relised what we had been missing. Off again this weekend (hope it floats) to Norfolk coast.

Happy camping I'm sure you will love it.

The tent(s) have done us proud over the years, but the wife has always fancied the FC's (her family have had them in the past)
Naturally, we often see them on sites & always have a good nose at them, so it was a natural progression.
I then made the mistake of taking her to a camping retailers where my wallet was brutally abducted

Congrats on your purchase.  I am sure you will love it, we love ours. We , like you started our camping life with tents.  The pathfiinder is so much more comfortable .I like all the luxeries in the pathfinder like the fridge and the WC and the beds being off the ground, and the electric, just a few things i can think of.

Hope you really enjoy your pathfinder
