When we had our Cruiser we always put the awning up. In the hot weather the cabin can get quite hot but the awning, once the front is zipped out, seems to keep quite cool.
I think only twice, in the 2 years we owned it, I did'nt put the awning up when it was just my son and I but we did put the sun canopy up which provided lovely shade!
You'll soon get the hang of the awning. Once the beds were pulled out, I did the inside of the cabin while my husband did the awning by himself. All done and dusted in 30-40 mins and cup of tea ready.
You'll also be surprised at how much you can pack into a Cruiser. If you have a plastic step, turn it upside down and put the aqua roll in it just inside the door, saves space and gets the aqua roll in!
Have fun with your Cruiser!
