Hi

I have got a Dandy approximately made 1975 - 1979 but having problems insuring it as no one will insure anything over 20 years old.  Can anyone help?

I think the Camping and Caravan Club will do it - it's cheaper if you're a member.

Ours is an early 80's model and must admit we diddnt even look into insuring it - nobody seems to want to steal it which is fine by us - I wouldnt even have thought about it had I not been on this site!

I can understand you wanting to insure yours especially when youve put your hard earned cash into it. Eventually when ours goes - probably next year and we buy a newer one (hoping for a  95 ish model) - I think I will get insurance then

I don't think its just the cost of replacing of your camper that needs to be insured. Its your equipment etc & importantly its your liability to your fellow campers in the event of an on site accident caused by your camper.

Give http://www.insurancefortrailertents.co.uk a try I don't think they would be worried by the age of your Dandy.
