Hi, im looking for some help, i am thinking about buying a trailer tent and don't know whether to go for a sunncamp or a cabanon.  I could probably buy a new sunncamp but it would have to be a 2nd hand cabanon.  Any advice would be great, thanks

I've had a Sunncamp for 5 years and never had a problem, plus to me (only my opinion) the Cabanons I've seen looked dowdy, especially with there dull grey interiors etc.....

I would go for a new Sunncamp rather than a used TT. I would rather know I was the only person who had slept in the bed.  I love our Sunncamp, no problems with it. We are new to camping so no real experiance to offer.

We've got a Cabanon and its fantastic.  Looked at  the Sunncamp, Raclet etc but we felt that the Cabanon workmanship was much better, also seemed to be more headroom.  The kitchen unit to is great.  Can't praise it enough.

We've got a Cabanon, and are really pleased with it.
We looked at the Suncamp TTs, but we thought the quality of the Cabanon was a lot better all round.
The Sunncamp was cheaper, but I believe you tend to get what you pay for these days.
What ever you buy I'm sure you will have a great time.

Deffo a Cabanon ,we had a Galaxy DL for 2-3 years, loads of room simple to erect, fitted loads of stuff inside the trailer body, spacious and had many admiring glances, visits, etc when we were away. The family who bought it off us(on new years eve!) said it looked brand new and we had used it about nine times ,was really really sorry to see it go but she who must be obeyed wanted a tin tent .Hope you find a good one and enyoy yourselves.

We have recently purchased a cabanon ourselves and looked at a sunncamp quite closely (side by side in the show area). The sunncamp was definetly worth a look at as it offered good value for money and appeared to have many of the things we wanted as well as being the right size. However the quality of the canvas on the Cabanon was definetly better and it appeared more robust and finished.  Also looking around, the Cabanon appeared to hold its value. The cabanon was alot more money and having had 3 other tents (not tt) we wanted to ensure that this purchase would be a wise one. I guess only time will tell.  Good look in your decision,I am sure you will make the right decision for you.
