I am looking for comfortable foam mattress for my cabanon trailer tent to replace the existing. As we get older we are going off waking up tired because of the crappy thin ones that come as standrad. If anyone has any ideas or can tell me where to get them I would be grateful.

i have noticed you are located in greater manchester i dont know if you know ashton at all but on the market there is stalls which sell foam i dont know how much it is or anything but i presume you could buy as much as you wanted and they seem to have all different sizes

theres a firm in oldham called comfortex they are on the road that runs past the magistrates court through the lights .they are on the right hand side of the road next to a car sales pitch ,they will cut you a piece of foam to fit they make mattreesses for the nhs etc if you give

Because our one in our dandy was over 20 years old i decided i wanted a firmer one but diddnt want to spend a fortune either - on one of my trips to ikea I saw that they sold their futon matresses at resonable prices (i think around £50) so it was larger than the size but very easiy to cut an edge off - its foam with thick cotton wadding wrapped around and it has been quite comfortable - havnt suffered with any back problems with it so quite pleased!
