Hi. I have an electrolux 3 way fridge, works fine on gas but not on mains. The green indicator light for mains is lit but the fridge does not cool down.
My first call would be to suspect a faulty electric heater on the back, this is normally an "L" shaped with a couple of wires coming from it and fits into a pocket and normally wrapped in insulation.
These are available and can cost aound £20-£25 plus postage.
Ours sometimes doesn't work on mains. If this happens we turn it upside down for a few minutes then turn it back upright. Once plugged in it works fine.
This is in line with the manufacturers instructions for our box with is the Electrolux Dometic. Do a google search for your product and check the online manual if there is one.
