I hope you don't mind if I stop and chat at your campfire, I promise, I won't cut through your campsite, and will follow the "leave no trace" rule.
..I have enjoyed looking at the pics and links of the camping rigs here and reading your camping tales.
Very clever & nice camping trailer/tent trailer/folding trailer designs I am seeing! With the cost of petrol, this surely has to be the wave of the future for most of us?
Our rig is an American 2001 Coleman Fleetwood Grand Tour Sante Fe. It is a 10 ft box and weighs around 2200 lbs when loaded up, folds out to about 22ft. We have really enjoyed this camper. Have done some DIY modifications over the years. Have camped cross country 6k mile round trip with it.
I better wander back to my campsite. Past time for me to curl up and go to sleep in my timezone. Hope to visit your campfire again soon..
Julian-She is a great camping dog! she is Siberian Husky/Samoyed Mix. Thrives especially when the weather is cold. Today the weather was cooler here, maybe in the lower 60's F overcast...she was acting like a puppy this evening and she is actually 8 yrs old.
Andy..Yes, I am a poster child for the addicted camping/popup/tent trailer forum lurker. It is my fix between camping trips
we have just bought a sunncamp duo been out in it three times we are addicted had a wonderful time and we are in our seventies very cosy easy to put up will be away as often as possible should have got one years ago what have we been missing the happy gereatric campers ha ha
Deedee, you are an inspiration! Hoping you will post some pictures or links to pictures of your Suncamp.
Cosycamper, you have great taste
We leave for a 2 week camping Holiday on Sunday. We will be camping in the Olympic National Park. Not very far from where we live..but an interesting geographic area- Alpine Meadows, Rainforests to Ocean Beaches. No roads straight thru the Park.

You have a nice rig Neill. Sorry, no Cabelas near me. Nearest probably is 1000 miles away.(probably just as well, I get their catalogue occasionally) I know you will enjoy that shower!
REI is the upscale trendy outdoors store in my area. One of the stores north of here even has a climbing wall
