When we have our trigano chantilly hitched onto our car and all the luggage and people on board, the clearance under the retracted jockey wheel can be as little as 5 inches.Does that sound about right? It doesnt look high enough.I went and checked all the tyre pressures today, car and trailer and its all spot on.Sorry if this is a common question.

Hi Happydad,
I too had a similar problem and decided to take the jockey wheel of and put it in the boot of the car, that way it is to hand as soon as I get on site

Just unscrew the "L" shaped clamp, remove wheel and replace clamp.
Might be an idea to wrap jockey wheel in a bit of old material or bin bag, might be a bit greasy.
