OK, here goes. Inside our Camplet Royal we store 2 double duvets, picnic blanket, a small table, pole bag and curtains for the awning, 4 gang extension cable, and a few more odds and ends in the trailer body, plus saucepans, kettle, plates, bowls, cultery, kitchen rolls, etc in the kitchen cupboards. On the roof rack we carry 2 camping chairs, roll up aluminium table, and a folding picnic table BUT there is space for more see here and click on the Storage link on the side panel.

Hi all

I would  love a Camplet. Could you fit a camping fridge such as the Waeco in it?

No, 3 way fridges are quite big so it wouldn't fit inside but you may be able to fit it in a front box attached to the draw bar. Alternatively, consider a Combi Camp Venezia or Panda which have a 3 way fridge included in the kitchen. The kitchen of my old Camp-let (ca. 1990) did have a fridge but the newer models don't.

we pick our new camplet up tomorrow, thursday, and we plan to store masses of stuff in it..  the table top fridge and gas bottle  are going in the luggage box on the front, as we have ordered a cabonna one, which is extra large..  as there are only two of us, we will sleep on the left, and remove the right hand matress, to give more storage..  when we were campers [last few years], our van was full to the roof with camping gear, now all will go in the camplet, so we can now fit an off road buggy in the van, to have fun on the beach

somebody should start a camplet owners web site, but i am too busy..  anybody?

Thanks for the advice regarding the fridge storage. I will have to go back to

camperlands and have a look- fortunately I am only a fewminutes away and often walk the dog near there. I  want to get a fridge for our tent and the waeco is supposed to make ice cubes as well as cool stuff.

we use a standard table top 240volt fridge, with ice box, which will go in the big front box

they are really cheap on ebay, and if it a collection only listing, it'l probably be cheaper

you can have it picked up for £6, by a courier reseller, but it might arrive with the odd dint

I often think that when I read of other owner groups but not enough hours in the day to join another forum.
