Changing to a caravan is definitely not upgrading.
Loss of space, weight increase when manouvreing and towing, bed construction am and pm, storage, wind effect from passing trucks and drag causing instability and leaks - no thanks even if you paid me.
Been there but good luck.
PS And we were fortunate to be able to buy brand new single and twin axle caravans which we towed with new 2 LR Discovery's.
