We have just acquired a second hand trailer tent  but we are having a few problems with the zip on extension bit the teeth on the zip seem to be fine but it is not grabbing together properly we have put it up in the garden to check what needs doing to it and in the wind it is coming unzipped from the top does anyone know of anywhere in the south wales area that fix tt zips

You may be able to fix it yourself.  Try getting some pliers on the fastener and gently squeeze the flat sides together.

Thanks for that i think it isthe fastener that is the problem as the zip looks in good order it was ok until the OH started fiddeling aroung with the fastener as it was too tight

I am so  pleased I ordered some new zip sliders from point north and now the zip closes a treat
