Have been looking at folding campers (only on the internet so far...) and have seen that Sunncamp do a folding camper. It is a lot less expensive than the Pennines and Conways and I am wondering if anybody has one or has any info on them.
We saw one and were impressed. They aren't as "nice" as the pennine and the original colour scheme came under my personal heading of "loud", They offer excellent value for money and come with an awning which pennine charge £600 extra for. If it was a choice between the sunncamp and the budget pennine continental I'd go for the sunncamp. It doesn't mention a fridge and in the pictures I can't see one. Only the pennine continental comes with out a fridge or mains electric so add that into the cost when comparing.
------------- Good friends are hard to find, difficult to leave and impossible to forget.
Thanks for your replies. I would love a Pennine Pathfinder but I think it's just out of my price range. Just got to try and tempt my OH to come and view a camper with me
hi we have a sunncamp venture it is superb ,the wardrobe is the only real difference and most pennine users dont use them anyway as they take up to much room, these are great to tow and look superb erected, even better than the photos ,do yourself a favour and save £3-4000 you wont regret it , make sure you leave a post on this site if you buy one as there arent many of us who have used our intelligance by purchasing one of these.if you need to know anything else let me know I will be happy to help you!!!
We got one, a Millenium Suncamp 2000, wonderful piece of kit. The colours are a bit cheerful apart from that it is exactly the same as a pennine sterling, 12v and 240v electrics, water pump, wardrobe, awning etc, it is all there. Oh nearly forgot no under bed skirts available, bit of a shame, we use a windbreak wrapped around the ends with a groundsheet to make some storage.
The quality and conditon are good, the cost was brill we paid £1,650 for it earlier this year. Lot lot cheaper than the equivalent pennine or conway.
Go for it dancelover, buck the trend get a Suncamp.

I'm not sure where Casey's is.
I could do with finding a stockist fairly local to take a look at the Venture or any other campers to show OH how fab it would be to have one
gary wright, do you have any photo's of your camper?
Caseys is at the Grosvenor Garden Centre just outside Chester. They don have a display during the winter as its all outdoors but put all their campers up around Easter time.
