You will doubtless need to take your own number plate and this can easily be attached to the TT number plate place with sticky pads which most camping places sell. I'm assuming here that sticky pads bought from camping places may be stronger than others bought elsewhere but I could easily be wrong!
When we had a TT, we did'nt use towing mirrors as the TT was'nt as wide as the car. See how you go though, you might feel happier using them.
By the way, if you have to get a number plate made up, make sure you know what shape to get, i.e. square(ish) or the normal type. Also you need to take your cars paperwork with you, believe I had to supply the reg document and a couple of utility bills with address on them.
Enjoy your Combi!
