Hiya Carole, yeah the A171 is the road with Birk Brow on, near Guisbrough. I've just had a look at what Scooby suggested and it's the other route I was thinking of, down to York then along the A170 all the way to Scarbrough. It's not much longer tbh, it only adds 15 mins to the journey, so we might go that way.
It's a shame you waren't coming earlier, but we will see you when you arrive

We had a great weekend, met some more UKCS'ers..all lovely peeps. The weather was better than we expected it to be and I think we managed to convert my mate from work into a proper camper, she loved it ..and managed to win the quiz.Can't wait for the next get together now.
