Hi All,

I know there's no host for this meet but it might be fun for the kids (and adults too) if we organise a couple of things. Maybe on Friday night before the kids trick or treat, say 6pm, we could play a game or two of ghost sweep. A couple of adults have a torch each and the kids have to reach the torch holders without getting caught moving in the beam. If they're caught moving when the torch hits them, they're out. I'll provide small prizes and don't mind doing it, if someone can help as not sure Stu will be with me.

Also, we could have a Witches Brew competition, where everyone in fancy dress concocts a drink and gives it a name and we all sample it and decide the winner! No prize, just the prestige (and of course the pleasure of testing it!!)

As we don't have use of a meeting place, we're limited as to what we can do but at least the kids will get a game and us adults can get warmed up for the disco!

Not half as sorry as me m8. I say lock the females in van and retire to cider centre (made me feel like a new man last time, lol).  I would, of course, leave the telly on for them. Only thing is they wouldn't agree to being locked in van or letting me go to cider centre so I've dipped out, again .

Well we looked forward to this for ages and now we will just be visiting on the Saturday as the bus is poorly and won't be fixed till next week .

Oh, don't suppose anyone has a canvas porch awning for sale have they? Keep losing out on ones on ebay but could do with one for BW. If anyone knows of any going, please let me know (that's if there's anybody out there)

Sorry guys, we are not able to make it for the weekend

I have been fighting a bad cold all week and managed to shift in time but unfortunately it seems i only shifted it as far as Tina. She was complaining of a bad throat last night and got up this morning to streaming eyes and nose. Given the current temperatures she does not want to come along and pass it on to you all.
