By way of protest you could always pitch your tent in the garden and not invite anyone........y'know do a bit of sulking aver a can of beer, that sort of thing!

We also thought about camping yesterday, just for half a second, but we high winds and decided against it.
Today however is beautiful,cold but still, so i'm thinking again. Now Christmas is over i'm just wishing the time away until we can get the tent out
I've also thought about going Wendle. It's a really nice day today, bright and sunny, and fairly mild. Was thinking last night I could have all my camping stuff together in an hour or so and be off first thing this morning...
In all honesty I think I'll be waiting 'till the season starts - never done this winter camping before...
Would love to do it, but my wife doesn't like the cold, so it ain't gonna happen! Would need somewhere with a pub/room, though, due to lack of daylight at this time of year.
