Well folks....I need to know who is deffo going to turn up ( the very very latest i need to hear from you on this thread is 10.00am on Thursday Morning 9th Dec .... if we don't have 6 units at £ 16 per unit per night for that we get all the facilities... The thing is Eden have a 'mimimum' of 10 units policy...hence the price...the more that go the cheaper it will be, i am afraid i am going to have to cancel with the Eden Camp woman... if we don't get 6 units...at the moment we have 3 deffo going.... PLEASE LET ME KNOW YEAH !
So far as the weather goe's for the end of the week it's cold ( but it always is at Eden camp ) but the roads should be ok so far as snow goes.... Eden staff will have the area we use cleared of all snow and ice....Joe has just told me that if we get at least 6 units...he will cook all your food for you on Saturday night on is Cadac in hut 12 whilst we sit in the warm drinking, catching up and listening to some nice christmas songs ...lol
We so hope this comes off ... it's not for the want of trying , it is now in your hands !

Well I checked on the van today and like al said, no chance of moving it from its location. The ground is full of ruts from the wagons churning it up. A foot of snow on the roof and two feet in front of it. So sorry mate, not a hope of being there. It will have to be when the weather defrosts the snow. Have a good UN if it comes off.

Well ! with Deep Regrets , i will be ringing Eden camp just after 10.30am this morning to cancel the UKCS 'mini' Xmas Party meet....i can now reveal that after waiting for folk getting back to me ( and some have not by the way ) about their intentions on coming or not ...it has been decided by Joe and myself that not only has this decision been taken cos of Mother Nature's hand in it, but the cost is having the major part in it being cancelled...Eden camp has a 10 unit 'Minimum' policy in hard cash that comes to £210 ...we have three units deffo wanting to go ...... that means £70 per unit for Friday and Saturday night... with no EHU...plus petrol....boozing in the bar and not to mention eating out in the cafe...in anyone's book that is just madness for folk to be expected to pay so near to Christmas or any time for that matter !
As said ...we are sorry but believe me it wasn't for the bloody want of trying
We will have to wait for the better weather to arrive...in the meantime have a Great Christmas and a Happy New Year each of you

Hi Steve ...thanks for that mate... ( it's funny i have only just sent 'Ratty' a message asking him if he could sent you an e-mail to tell you to look at this post Ha ! ) yeah Joe in particular was so looking forward to it as it's me and his favourite UKCS meet...he has had a sh*t year to say the least and needed to get away...
We did try are best but eh....S%*t happens ...i will now hand this back to 'THE MASTERS' of this event...Marquey and Clairemc.. so that they can work there magic on this meet...hope not too far into the New Year
