Hi Marc

Yes....only a confirmation  is sent out after booking form received, which you are to present to Geoff or Pauline as you enter the camping field. They will then issue you with all the required festival wristbands etc which you will need for the weekend.

I am sure you will understand that the confirmation form is only issued to make administartion and security easir to organise. Experience of doing this festival for the last 18 years has shown that this method works better than any others we have tried.

SITE UPDATE

A site inspection was carried out today and (with fingers crossed) I can report that the fields are all in good shape with a nice coating of grass.

Geoff (caravan officer) has reported that there is a good turn out from UKCampsite members, who when they arrive should say if they wish to be all located with the other members.

With so many events cancelled this summer so we still keep our fingers crossed that the good dry weather continues to hold, although even we appreciate that a little rain makes the grass green

You are welcome to stay on site to Monday morning. However you should be aware that the toilets are often taken very late sunday by the supply firm..

Update on the site. the downpour we had today certainly watered the site, so no traffic movements have taken place today to preserve its ondition.  The site is in very green - must be something to do with the summer we have had...... and the grass has been allowed to lengthen for better traction.

We look forward to seeing our friends staying on site this year.

Will keep this brief as we still have a lot of clearing up to do on and off the site....and then dreaded paperwork.

Once the outcome on donations to the charities are know i will post further  on the thread.
