thanks everyone for being kind to me! i'm sorry the weekend was such a washout, but we did have some laughs didn't we? hope nobody was put off and will come on other meets.
i would like this meet officially declared 'the worst ukcs meet ever'
We got back home safe and wet but grinning like a cheshire cat got the van put away and the awning drying in the gararge its like a chinese laundry here clothes and stuff hanging from everywhere I would like to propose that Billie is given credit and a title for making the best out of the worst! Too much going on all weekend to list, but after the bodyboarding nothing else will come close
Thanks to everyone that helped make this meet great and it was good to meet friends hope to see you all in the future now for a bath
P.S. Val got a wash this time lol

I couldn't agree more Shaun she didn't do a bad job did she where else could we adault's get away with playing in the mud, Dave aka Gareeeeeeeeeey your the man . The only thing that let the weekend down was Lisa not mud wrestling with Val spoilsport, can't wait for York i've packed my bodyboard already
We got back earlier, but I've been busy emptying the muddy stuff outa the van, and having a nice long hot bath!! We were supposed to be travelling east to west towards the Dent meet, but change of plan, needed to clean the mud and bugs off the groundsheets and dry the awning before the next meet, but we're still going out again in a day or two, this hasn't put us off. Thanks Billie you did a great job, also to Neil and Shaun for the lifts, and Lisa is an excellent playgroup leader. Enjoyed the gathering in the toilet blocks when everyones awnings were waterlogged, that was different. And we didn't even need the tractor to, erm, remove us from our pitch (did I say that right Shaun?)
Glad your all getting home safely. Such a shame about the weather but it sounds like you all had a good time. Can't wait to see the piccies of the "body boarding"
So sorry the weather spoiled the meet for you all. You all battled on intrue UKCS spirit though and managed to have a laugh, in fact the mud-sliding sounds fun! remembering the last muddy meet we went too, I don't envy you all cleaning it off - the mud sure gets into some very strange places!
