I have to agree with the comments above - there was hardly anything to look at trade stall wise and only one caravan dealer. I would have been very disappointed if I had paid for the day.
The entertainment was absolutely cracking though with great tribute acts and comedians. Not sure I will bother again though as looking at the caravans for sale and bits and bobs etc is what we enjoy as well which was sadly lacking this time.....
I was fortunate or unfortunate (depending on what you are after) to win a pair of camping passes for the weekend for this show.Travelled just over hour & a half 70 miles to get to the red gate entrance on Thursday 12 20pm. Started queuing in lane 3 of 4 as directed by security managed to get to the lady handing out the plants & programmes at 13 30pm Yes 1 hour and 10 minutes to get in and then told to return for programme bag & plant. Longer than it took us to go round the show. The entertainment on Friday & Saturday evening was very good. If I had been going just for the show I would have been disappointed but if you break it down to £11.25p per night camping with good level pitches and hard surface roads, with clean toilets showers and 4 hours of some some very good acts on stage each evening we had a very good 4 nights Many Thanks for the tickets
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
