Cheers Brenda, will have to do a search for it when I get a mo tomorrow, between getting the kitchen finished and trying to sort out me website etc I tend to forget what I am doing a lot! lol

Thanks Derek, just had a look and it is probably about the same distance as Auchnahillan was for us, would be able to see the Cairngorms from the other side! Hmn, all we need now is dates and prices!

  re aberdeen meet hi we are from s.wales but go there often s our son is there in uni at kings in old aberdeen on our first trip there we passed a guy in union st driving and he stopped and asked us the date as he had been there[union st]since last xmas lol

on a serious note we love it up there and when we go without the motorhome we stay at thetravel inn at portleven a great place and the folk there aberdeen are so friendly but then again when we first went to old aberdeen via union st i asked a few locals which way to go and i may as well been speaking russian as they just could not understand me at all LOL i am not talking bad now cos all the locals are great there oh that place there that serves that monster fish and chips where all the celebs go is the best chippy ever i think that cod they gave nme was a shark it was huge we will be back for sure cheers andy from s.wales

Maybe they gave you a strange look because they were Polish Workers. LOL 

We have heaps of them working on our building sites in Aberdeen.

We will be heading up the west coast and through Skye in June, before crossing to the Western Isles.

Then in July, on the way back, we will be heading for Burghead for a 4 night stay before heading down the east coast to the Perth and home from there.

If you have the time to travel further down the east coast I would suggest this one at Findochty for at least one night.

As it is, we are hoping to cover about 1,000 towing miles over 30 days with 17 stops. We should have the new van sussed by the time we get back
