Its a cult ,The meets are merely a way of herding new victims !!
They brain wash you and force you to drink large quantities of fosters ,eat BBQ food ,and do embarresing things like playing rounders or taking part in assualt coruses !!!!
They're EVIL!!!
know what you mean, I did 2 last year and now my pc seems infected with some sort of program that clicks register if anything is within a 4 hour drive, it is even making me want to daft things like organise one myself

loukell, you really must try a meet. clairemc hosts the meets for your area and we go on most of them! we have such a lot of fun, with a great group of people. you can join in as much or as little as you like so hubby won't feel under pressure!

Attended our first meet in November at the North West bonfire do although we had already booked previously it was good to put some faces to names, but what a bunch of Nutters ha ha. But seriously what a great bunch they all were, so much so booked on for the Winter warmer at Dent. Anyone else going on this one? Would be great to put some more faces to names.
we are hoping to go to the dobbs weir one , just waiting for confirmation , its our first meet and we are camping virgins too . have we bitten more off then we can chew , and as for the PINK STUFF , cant wait to try the stuff
------------- The trouble with jogging is that the ice falls out of the glass.
We went on our first meet at Rutland New Year and had a great time and met some really friendly and happy people!
It sounds like you and your hubby are like me & mine. I am the more outgoing one with more gob and Kelv is more reserved and quiet until he gets to know people and so I was a little nervous as to how he woud take it but we had a great time and he really enjoyed it
Everyone is really friendly but no-one is in-ya-face and you only really have to take part if and when you want to and when you do you are made to feel like you have been meeting for ages - well thats what it felt like for us.
We are booked up for several more meets now, the next one being The Ranch at Selby in 3 weeks time.
So take the plunge and get booked up, I am sure you won't be disappointed
