 thanx for the replys guys. pete, its a shame that john has gone to the wall, he was a nice bloke but i know what you mean about sitting at the bar all day. who would i have to see about the flats ?.. that would be a thought. darren, you seem to know me so well, hahaha. me thinks i would spend more time there than a realy should. bit like being on holiday every day realy lol.

   if the pub will be open again soon then it looks like summer hols are set.

Pub not open yet. Interestingly, no mention of it on the c&cc entry for the site. Did they know something last year when the entry was written?

No, the feedback is starting to say the same thing.

My mate Jerry has just opened up a new site in Bude - Widemouth Fields - mention my name if like - he has hosted a rally at one of his previous sites and there wasnt a good turnout, but if you make it just out of main season I am sure you could twist his arm.   he's a nice guy and his bark is worse than his bite........

Huh? Me? I didn't book anything.

Do you mean the place I found that would have happily taken a booking from a group of mixed units?

If so, no, I just meant that I remember a site owner not being particularly nice to our dear Loopy or anyone else for that matter!

Hedley Wood Was the place I looked at for February, never been there, but it looked nice, had some nice reviews and the owner seemed very nice when I spoke to him.

Hmm, hard standings...open all year.. somewhere to gather in winter  (possibly New year?)
