Hi All,

Just to let you know I have just e-mailed Ratty to say that unfortuatley myself and 'Peugeotbloke' wont be attending due to the potential bad weather, I made the decision now rather than later so that someone else may be able to make use of our electric pitches. We are really disapointed as we were all looking forward to it but the weather looks non too good for the next few days and the forcast keeps changing, for instance they said that Norfolk was going to have sunny spells today, well they must have been micro seconds long because I didn't see them! and on the same forcast today they mention sunny spells for Saturday, maybe they mean more snow or maybe they are going to be right. The roads around here have been slippery all day.

It is basically saying loadsa snow tonight and sunny spells and rain saturday but bear in mind that they said sunny spells for today and it was foggy and icy all day!

At the moment looks ok for me to leave tomorrow as planned. Back roads here are a bit dodgy but all main roads are clear. I'm guessing that Dartford tunnel will be clear (LOL) and as its motorway and duel carriage way almost all the way I shouldnt hit any probs.

Just spoken to Les (Loopy's better half) and he has said that it is like a magical winter wonderland, at least 4 inches of snow, kids having snowball fights, making snowmen, sledging etc.  He has said that a warmer spell is due to hit later today so hopefully that will make the roads safer for those travelling up today.
