Thats OK, Im heading over that way today anyway for a BBQ at my parents house, up the road in Wardle. Think I might pop up to the campsite if I get time and see if I can see anyone :D

There is a nice cold wind today for the BBQ, I was going to have one over in Milnrow when my grandaughter arrives later but I think that I will be cooking inside and sitting inside.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
ive not had the chance to get up there... we had a drive over to hebden bridge to see my brother and we've only just sat down after the bbq. It was cold but we wrapped up and braved it out! All snug now though inside Shame though as would have been nice to meet someone! Just been a rather hectic day!
And my gran lives in Milnrow...I grew up spending a lot of time on Eafield Avenue. They moved 20 odd years ago now but still live in the village.
I have lived in the village for 60 years and my wife a little longer, if they are long term residents of the village ( say pre 1960 when the village suddenly expanded enormously ) then we are likely to know them.

No, dont think its been that long. My mum was born in 1956 and I know they lived in Red Lumb and Castleton for a while before moving to Milnrow. It's at least 30 odd years though.
Just got back from Hollingworth, a fantastic weekend and a perfect opportunity for testing our new tent fully loaded with all the bells and all the whistles. We got some weird looks though, "what the hell do they need a tent so big and all that furniture for ?"
We met Wendy and Max her boxer ( Fudgetastic) the daytime weather was ok but man did it get cold at night. Our fan heater kept tripping the ehu supply.

There's always a chance, I was just wondering.

Just got back from Hollingworth, Mrs C the field we were in was a little full but the field next to it was completely empty, sorry you couldnt get in, maybe they only open the other field high season, must be nice to be able to throw money away when your running a business!! Ilived on Weir Rd for 12 years, back in Royton now.
Weather was cold at night, blowing right off the moors, the dog came in useful, I put him inside my sleeping bag cause he was shivering too!
