Anyone going camping this weekend in the Midlands? Please reply if you like drinking lots and having a laugh.

Hi Caz, l'm not sure yet, l'll have to see how the weather is on Friday morning before making a choice to set out, l notice it's too late to book the Leominster meet :-(

I've been through Leominster before, it's quite hilly there isn't it, l might just turn up there on the spur of the moment if there are still places for independent campers available. I've heard the meetings can be raucuous, so it would be a nice idea. I don't really like going out in the city, it's too intense isn't it?

Well, anyway, l haven't even looked at the local campsites yet. I'm open to suggestions.

Update: the wet weather looks set to carry on from this weekend into the next :-(

I'm not up for wet camping, but hopefully next weekend will turn good.

The weather just went downhill as soon as l joined this forum :-(

Yes, l hope it's nice next weekend. Or just not raining and not very windy.
