hi every one 40th dorset steam fair this year AUGUST  thousands camp there every year great show LOTS TO DO AND SEE   just wondered how many UK CAMPSITE MEMBERS GO THERE

I love the way you can be parked next to anything, cheapo 2 man tent, 70 grand motor home-  anything all types of people great fun for everyone

Hi

The offical open dates are 27 - 31st Aug - but some people camp early to see it all set up/down - a guy from work does this. The campsite (pre-booked) is operational from 23rd Aug until Midday Mon 1st Sept.

Min stay is 2 nights - have a look at the web site lots of things planned - GDSF

we going Thur through Sun - can't wait!

It's always a bit daunting for newbies on the meets for the first time, but I can guarantee that you'll feel settled with it within a couple of hours.
Everyone is so helpful but never intruding and very laid back.

A god one for you guys to start off at would be South Lytchett Manor just outside Poole, not to much of a distance and if you decide it's not for you then you can still say you've tried it.
