I've just bought tickets for me & OH. We're intending to take 2 of the kids (7 & 9) too so will hopefully be in the family field. We've got family no too far away so if it all gets a bit much one or both of them can join the 2 years old there.

Haven't been since BK (before kids), so wondering if I'll be able to cope with the hygiene side of it all this time round!

Anyone else going?

not this year but funnily enough was talking to all our kids this week about looking into taking them to gigs wiv us as they are aged 7 10 12 and 15 so you will have to post again after glastonbury letting us know how you got on and if the kidz coped ok with it all

Yes we are going again this year and taking our 7 year old (its will be her 3rd Glastonbury!) was thinking about not taking her (last year was tough for us and was more so for her because of the mud)but she really wants to come. We wont be in the family field as we are in the Dandy so up in the campervan field for us. It tends to be quieter up there anyway. Cant wait for it - it has to be less muddy this year... doesn't it? have to say the £5 trekking poles came in very handy - bought a kid one for her - it kept her upright in the mud a few times come prepared although there are plenty of items you can get there too - don't forget your bucket too - even more useful at Glastonbury and I bought some wag bags too for emergencies -again more for my daughter that was. Oh yes and I bought some traveljohns which I found useful too - some people even let her pee in their tent while down at the other stage! - I was trying just to find a little bit of privacy at the back of some tents when they said to go under their tarp area! and don't forget the little packs of anti bac hand gel!
