Highlight has to be SJ playing Musical Chairs; I nearly wet myself laughing when she fell backwards on the chair in slow motion. Poor Sarah!
Thanks to Terry & Lynn for the use of the frame tent as the entertainment central and thanks to everyone for the buffet food and contributions to the New Year's Day roast dinner.
Paul & Hil deserve special thanks too for bringing Jan & Mart & Buster so that we could spend New Year with friends together.
I think I've finally removed the smell of the firepit from everything!
Oh and Dean, we had to be towed off the field by Godfrey after he saw what you did to his grass as you left. MR WASSELL, YOU'LL GET DONE FOR THAT NEXT TIME!!! lol
Hope that Sarah, Cliff and family enjoyed themselves at their first meet.
hahaha!! i said i'd never do it - camping at new year!! lol
first night i said i'd never do it again - BUT, it was fantastic, and i think i was warmer there than when i came home to my cold quiet house!!!!!!
i think we all had a great time, and as for paul fetching jan, mart & buster - thats what friends are for, could not have left them at home!!
really enjoyed our communal dinner on new years day, but then again enjoyed every day. only downside for me was the bloody fish and chips were crap in cleggy LOL
just one other thing now - got to decide where we going next year, so we can have a re-run of sarah falling over cos i bloody missed it
hope we all meet up again soon

Happy days one and all and Stu congratulations to your Aunt (?) on her MBE (too much drinking games to recall precise details) but well impressed and I do hope your Mum gets a good hat for their day at the Palace.
The kids were great and your little one following 'Santa' about was a treat (btw he is Santa but only on 24 December the rest of the year he is Tel) and he was on holiday but enjoyed sharing his tea with the little ones.
I have spent some recent new years with 'pretend' mates in the Army but this was spend amongst proper mates with memories that will last forever.... Hil your face as you swigged my neat rum is a picture that will last for a long time!!!
Thanks everyone for letting me join in the fun
