Where has everybody gone?

Well I hope you are enjoying yourselves where-ever you are. I've just booked Delamont for the Viking weekend in September.

Hi Oaky,

Been making the most of this season, been to Tollymore, Sixmilewater, Ballyness, Castle Archdale, Delamont and we took the van over to the mainland for the first time to Northumberland (Dunstan Hill).

Four more breaks planned before the end of August, Sixmilewater, Gosford, Drumaghlis and Blarney to follow.

Great to see the sites so busy and our hobby so popular.

Hope you've had a great season so far too.

Shaun.

Hi Folks,

We've been to Tollymore, Dungannon Park and Drumaheglis. So far we have been away for 47 nights since New Year!  Away for 3 nights to Dungannon Park again on friday and then 15 nights at Rushin House in Fermanagh after that, can't wait.

We have breaks booked right through to the New year, caravanning all year round. Hope you're all having as good a time as we are!!

Hi everyone, been watching here but it has been quiet. Off to Ballyness first week in August, cant wait though hope the weather picks up. Then Delamont at end of August, Carnfunnock in September.

I dont think there are any other all year sites in N.Ireland, sgtzara. Judging by the amount of caravans I've seen on the road this summer we could be doing with a few more good sites. Being on the road everyday there is definately an increase in outfits. Where are they all staying? Better start booking for next year!

With farming the way it is surely it would be a good opportunity for someone to develop their land and give us more choice of where to go.

Paul

Go to hear everyone's getting out and about.

Agreed Paul, we really could do with more sites over here.  I did e-mail the C&CC to enquire if they had any plans to develop any more sites this neck of the woods ... here was their response.

"Dear Sir

Thank you for your recent email communication.

I can confirm the Club is looking to open more Club Sites through our Franchising department and we would love to open more sites in Northern Ireland, however we have been unable to source any locations we could turn into a Club Site at present.

This is why the Club periodically runs adverts for members who are aware of locations they feel that may be suitable to contact the Club with these locations.

I do appeciate your comments though and only hope we can secure some sites in Northern Ireland in the near future.

Kind Regards

Julie Briscoe

Customer Services Officer"

So ... if anyone out there knows of any suitable plots .... you know what to do!
