Have you been there Norman?

I see nothing on their site to show what their touring pitches are like.

I would be deeply suspicious of any site that says it takes tourers but refuses to show any pictures of their touring caravan area. I also notice that it says nothing about camping (tents).

hi mike,yes iv`e been there its very quiet the only bad point was the entrance to the site it was very tight, oh yes they do take tents? i was there about 5 years ago....

As for May, will have to consult the schools data base for holiday dates, if possible then it would only probably be a long weekend as there are no longer holidays at that time.

I will actually be "Somewhere not too far from Border" in Sept this year.

Probably Moffat on the way down and Lauder on the way back.

Just an overnight stay at each but good stopping off points to break the journey.
