hi kaz&pete,we have been looking at the chippendale cp off school road thats near the airport,its adults only site the fee`s are about £14 per night inc ehu,

If you head towards the North shore near Warbreck Hill Road you could probably get away with parking overnight up this end of town. If only for one night to see the lights. We have parked up this end for just that reason but never stopped overnight, but parked up for considerable 'evening' time.

There is also plenty of space down near the football ground (south side of the tower) You can park overnight in the car park near the tower, which is where you come out if you travel in via the M55. Although not officially a place to camp overnight - but if you are discreet, who woudl know? There is a coach park also attached to this very large campsite.

Someone else may know more. :)
