I have not stayed there but have seen the site. It looks fine. Grass pitches and plenty of space for kids to run about if you have any.

Never been to the rugby club (been to Millom and didn't like it) but Millom is not the best place in Cumbria to be - by all accounts it can be a little 'rough' (that's coming from a friend who lived there for most of their life)
BUT saying that it's a good place for getting out and about that bit of the coast from.

I like Silloth - if you can ever get there when the Kite Festival is on (if they do it again this year) then that is a good afternoon/day out.

I have stayed at this site. Clubhouse is very cheap, people friendly, amenities quite good and you are in the right place to watch the rugby games when at home. Have to agree that there are much better places to visit, but the location is quite good and site cheap when I stayed. Would stay there again if we did not now live in Cumbria.
