Just to let you know of an event that is due to be held on Sunday 11th April, East Strand Car Park in Portrush. It's called Dub Surf and the Irish Surfing Championships will be taking place. A crowd of us from the Northern Beetle & Bus Owners Club will be there too in our VW's - there were 25 or so last year. If you happen to be about you it would be great to see you
Just to let you know that the Surf Championships have been postponed due to good weather so the event will not be taking place this weekend unfortunately.
I only heard this earlier today and can't access the uk campsite forum in work so apologies for leaving it so long before letting you know.
It's not too often much is cancelled here because of good weather!! Fully understand, daughter follows surf report all the time, she surfs and you can guarantee that when we want good surf it's awful..
We'll keep an eye out for new date.
