Hiya

We are off to Silver Birches in Snowdonia (Adult only site) on 26 June for a week. Really looking forward as the first time we have been away for more than 4 days in one outing (relative tent virgins I guess). The site looks great and has great reviews.

Has any one else been recently and is the pub walkable?

That's one of the sites I was considering. Not been but it looks good and had positive reviews.

I went in May 2008 for the bank holiday and did one of the reviews.

I must admit we drove to the local pub as we had walked up Snowdon earlier in the day so were in no mood for more walking.

It was a few miles away but along a road.

Hopefully this map will work



The campsite is at "A"

If you follow the A4085 past the lake the Cwellyn Arms is also noted.
