im up in portsoy next month and wondered if there was any must see or must go places

It is over 50 years since I was last in Portsoy.

I was on a cycling tour of Scotland and I stayed at the Boyne Hotel. I wonder if it is still there.

If you have half the holiday I had, you'll have a ball. I still remember it well.

I have an old B&W Photo of me at about 13 years old, standing at the end of the railings outside the Boyne Hotel. I am in full cycling gear and I was so thin then that you would be hard pushed to tell where the railings stopped and I started.

Nowadays, if I was standing at the end of a row showing the north end of south bound elephants, you'd be hard pushed to know where they stopped and I started.
