web site is stating that its £20-00 a night for upto 4 ........ have they dropped there prices....... we got a leaflet from them saying it had reopened and i thought the prices looked cheaper than what the website said earlier in the year?
its hard to find sites less than this a night now just for 2 people so for 4 i think its a good price ............

I stayed at Pillaton last weekend. Have to say it was fab !
If anyone wants to help organise the rally - it's still provisionally booked for the weekend 16th/17th September. There hasn't been much interest up to yet - the site is well worth a visit. You could make it just a social on the Saturday evening ( no food ) to make it easier or an afternoon Jacobs gathering so that when it's finished everyone can help tidy up.
Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to make it now as I've made other plans mainly because of the reaction to the idea wasn't received as positively as I thought it would've been - but if people did want get the ball rolling I know you'd all have a great time.

Hi, I went to the Pillaton Meet last year, and agree its a fantastic site - had a brilliant Weekend.
This week Ive received a Mail Shot from Pillaton Hall Farm, with all the 2011 price tariff.
EHU £25.00 Non EHU £20 (Inc Fishing)
EHU £20.00 Non- EHU £15.00 (No Fishing)
The prices arent too bad for a family of 4, but for a solo camper such as myself, it makes it an expensive Weekend. Maybe Pillaton Farm may offer discounts for Solos ?????
Yip we got a leaflet through last week too from Pillaton. We went to the meet last year and had a great time puting faces to all the familliar names. Would be good to go back if a meet is arranged and can get that weekend of work

We've been there a couple of times over the past few weeks, it's only 25 minutes away from home max! I was gutted when they changed their opening to just a few weekends this year, £30 a night with a min of 3 nights when we live that close was a no go. So, when we found out that it was reopened we used that as a site to test our new Vermont XL when we got that! Have to say, we really liked it and is ideal for a last minute weekend away.
We are toying with the idea of going somewhere that weekend but were probably going to see about using the 2 nights Forest Holidays I won on here for my porch review! However, if that doesn't happen and the meet does, we might turn up! I'll keep checking on here just in case!
------------- Regards,
Kathryn

Is there any update on a possible Pillaton Meet for 2011. I am certainly interested in meeting up, just wondering what dates and what the site fees would be ? Maybe the cost of £15 for a solo camper without EHU maybe putting a few from attending.
Surely, if Pillaton Camping Site want the custom of UKCS they`d offer a discount. However, saying that I joined their Facebook page and asked the question, for which I never received a reply! (Ive since removed them from my FB)

I think most miss this meet Brian, was a great end to the season sort off thing, and a fantastic crowd.
------------- Think this year is to follow old meet friends for 2014.
If you cant do someone a good turn, don`t do them a bad one,its nice to be nice you know, and little things mean much more later in life.
