Hi.Happy campers,has any-one advice on camping in the south of France.we have had our caravan for 3 years, and want to explore abroad. thinking of may-be renting a static one there, and renting a car, to test the water before we take the plunge with are caravan. this will be in september for a few weeks.

Just bear in mind that most sites in France close at the end of September/first week in October.
I've stayed in pre-erected tents on many occasions. It cost little more than taking my own equipment and was a lot more convenient, as it's easy to do the trip in one day and an empty car does a lot more MPG.
