If you want to get a group together to share your love of the outdoors you will be made VERY welcome.
I am the owner of The Withies Campsite in Much Wenlock, Shropshire. CCC No.138/108. In addition to the 3 acre CS site, I have 3 acre rally field that I am keen to encourage groups to use. The site is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the beautiful limestone Wenlock Edge . This year we have had several varieties of Orchids growing at our site, and on surrounding footpaths. The bee orchids, common, spotted and pyramid orchids have grown this year in abundance bringing with them butterflies, bees, and bird life.
There are miles and miles of footpaths, and bridleways with direct access from our site, to explore. The ride UK riding and cycling route, The Shropshire Way and Jack Mytton Way, pass our entrance.

A ten minute walk will take you to Much Wenlock Town with award winning pubs and restaurants, newly built swimming pool and leisure facilities. 5 miles away is the World famous Ironbridge Gorge and associated museums. The River Severn only a few miles away for canoeing and kayaking or fishing. Historical towns of Ludlow and Shrewsbury a short drive away.

The Withies sounds great. We are 2 women that would really like to meet up with other women at sites, so we can have someone else to talk to. We have a small romahome campervan. If any other women fancy meeting up, maybe we could organise something for Spring 2014. Romahomer
I'm sure Clair at the Withies is VERY aware of The Equality Act and I am sure would also "VERY welcome" a men only group at the Withies. So Bernie, just up to you to organise one!
